Crystal's Life With Cat Baby

by Crystal Hartung
(Garland,TX.)

In March 2005 a kitten arrived at my door step at 5:30am. I opened the door the kitten came in and i have kept her ever since. When i feel like I am going out of my mind she comes next to me and i feel better. I have always felt better around animals than humans. I often get stuck in the inner world and rather just hang out with my cat.

I used to work. Then in 2000 went back to school and graduated in 2007, but am having a hard time getting a job. i found out i am more introverted, and am not sure how to get a job. I have read many books about Sensitive People and How Introverts have advantages. When i look at job listings, i get angery when the ad says they're looking for an outgoing person. i want to take Extraverts and turn them into an Introvert. When i did not know i seemed more willing to surrender to work. Now knowing who i am i seem to want to just hide. I keep applying for work.

Hi Crystal...
by: Erika Harris

I'm so happy to hear that you've enjoyed nearly 5 years with the healing presence of your Cat Baby. I know very well that beloved animals with whom we've bonded can move us forward to very amazing places. So precious.

I'm also happy to hear of your unrest; that denying who you are has become more difficult. That's wondrous, Crystal. This may sound like unusual advice, but... let the unrest lead and guide you. The anger you feel? It's purposeful.

Ask It (yes, ask your anger) what Good and Productive thing it wants to bring through you.

You'll be amazed.

And the rest of us will be oh so thankful. Assuming you say, "Yes," to it, that is :-)

Warmly,
Erika
