In getting my BFA, I had to do a presentation of my past work and of works that influenced my project. I said at that time (for the first time aloud), I do not feel that I chose to be an artist; I fight it all the time. But art always draws me back. I feel drawn to create. I feel that it is my voice. That art chose me.
