HSP Village

I want to showcase those gifts and resources here, so I've created
HSP Village. This is a place for YOU to share your experiences and insights about being a highly sensitive person, and it is a chance for you to connect with others who "get it."

Exchange encouragement, wisdom, coping techniques, inspiration, ideas for living optimally, and whatever else you want to see in your village. You get to create your own page, like this one, or this one, or this one that others can comment on. There's no registration or sign-up process. You just start typing in the form box. Easy :-)

Let's start with these topics (many of which go beyond the realm of "work"):

• At The Water-Cooler - Traditional work can be challenging for HSPs when it lacks meaning, and when the culture is harsh or antagonizing. Are you dissatisfied with your work? Let's explore challenges and solutions here.

• At Your Self-Owned Company/Business - Gandhi said, "Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony." Many HSPs find happiness in self-employment. Are you happily self-employed? Share your how-to stories here.

• Out In Nature - Nature has the ability to restore and refresh us, no matter how frazzled modern living may make us feel. Are you a gardener, mountain-climber, trail-hiker, shaman, landscaper, environmental activist or some other kind of outdoor enthusiast? We want to hear about your relationship with nature.

• In The Art Gallery - A common trait among HSPs is creativity and a heightened sense of aesthetics. We not only understand beauty, we are drawn to create it. Are you a painter, sculptor, photographer, fashion/graphic designer, or some other kind of visual artist? Share your work, and the narratives behind them. We want to see.

• In The Sound Studio - Another form of creating beauty is through sound. Are you a singer or musician? What motivates you to create in this way? Share your videos with us.

• With Our Partner - In addition to work, relationships are another big challenge for HSPs. Do you have strong opinions or ideas about what it takes for an HSP to enjoy a romantic relationship?

• With Our Furry Friends - Animals are highly intuitive creatures, and HSPs and empaths tend to bond closely with them. Do you have fun, insightful or touching stories about your pet? We want to hear them.
