Nature as Professional

My story about being an HSP goes back 45 years in time, when I received a poem from my father, in which he wrote about my high sensitivity. That time it hadn't even a name! Through my life, struggles and learning processes I came on the website of Dr. Michael J. Cohen about Re-connection with Nature. As a counselor and coach I was searching for pure truth to learn about working in Nature. I already worked with clients in Nature, which was amazing how people reacted on it and were really helped to go on with their lives. My feeling was searching for more information. The lessons I followed gave me a wonderful new perspective of my own life and what it could mean for my clients and students. The 53 senses we have as HSPs is an eye opener! We have more senses than we thought we had or were allowed to have from the environment. Most of the time I heard: "You, always with your feelings", or "You are different".
A while ago, I went, as I always go with my students and clients, to a nature area in the dunes in Holland. And suddenly I had the feeling I was going to church, when I saw all the families with their children go for a walk on a Sunday afternoon. Other people were going the same direction with another goal, such as jogging. Also some people went with their bicycles, all in the same direction. We all walked the same direction, like going to church. The quote: "I believe in God, but I spell it Nature" came alive to me.
In which I can translate it to: "If everybody goes in the same direction through nature, in their own way, there must be peace and happiness found!" Because going through nature creates balance in your innerly nature.
I hope my story inspires you to find the synchronics and methaphore in Nature, but also the connection with your own nature by the understanding how nature works. To inspire more people who work already with people in nature I started a course called "Nature as Professional" and the first day it starts is in September. I am looking forward to it. To follow my "innervoice", I found my passion and path to walk on to.
From heart to your heart,
