Some Day, Some Day

1905 Chalk - Antique Artist's Box

1905 Chalk - Antique Artist's Box

I like to photograph things. Sometimes it's just stuff I pick up when walking the dogs, like the white rose (in a trash bin) and the autumn leaves and berries. Sometimes the produce person just finished putting out vegetables in a beautiful way - turns out he was working his way through art school. I like trees and bark, leaves and other living things. I've been told I have a good eye and feel most at peace working with photos (nice calm after telling too many jokes somewhere), but don't know how to harness it. I approached a gallery in Denver - they said yes and it overwhelmed me. Same with a local restaurant here - hard to focus enough to get it together. I am hoping this HSP meetup group will ground me enough to get on with stuff I love and am good at - instead of just managing to stay under a roof somehow. Some photos are on flickr, search people for Sue Pax, if anyone would like to look. Thanks for the floor for a bit. Kezia

Things are working out.
by: Kezia

Things are getting easier to do in the art world, shy, introverted, hsp or not. Just get in there and do it and sure enough it becomes easier and easier and you will see results. K

I wrote them, Erika - thanks for the link. Now may just be the time. I am finalizing the comedy routine for open mic night too - nothing to lose anymore! Yippee - the time has come!

Someday could be Today?

Kezia, your photography is beautiful! Your ability to dive beneath the image and discover its reason for Being is a gift.

The link below won't be live for much longer -- only a few days more, I think...

Seeking Art for Neighborhood Restaurant (Wicker Park)

This established Wicker Park restaurant is seeking local and talented artists to display their work on our walls. We have plenty of potential buyers passing through each day, weekends drawing upwards of four hundred people for brunch and two hundred at dinner. We love supporting the artists' community and aim to continue doing so!

If interested, please respond with a few examples of your work and where might be best to reach you.

With belief in you,
Erika
